what are some basic golf tips?

im going to a practice range for the first time tommrow and was wondering like what each club and stuff is used for cuz i have a whole set of clubs balls shoe etc or what are some tips about my swing?

First of all, don’t rush your swing. Start slowly and try to send balls where you want. Your swing tempo will decide what kind of golfer you will become.
Second of all, instead of trying to crush the balls, try to hit them softly. You will get the feeling of hitting balls crisply, then you can start a little harder with bigger swing.

How to add chrome exhaust tips to 2000 Volkswagen Golf GTI?

I own a 2000 Volkswagen Golf GTI, and it has the muffler with the turn down exhaust tips. The rear bumper doesn’t have a cut out for the exhaust tips, and I was wondering how I could extend the existing tips down and under the rear bumper to add chrome tips on the end of them. I need some kind of elbow to connect to the existing tips so I can make them go straight out under the bumper. If anyone has any advice or ideas, please help. Thanks

Exhaust centres have pipe bending tools.
In a way they can carry out all possible modifications.

Any golf tips for a 15 year old?

Im about to go golfing in about 15 minutes.
I know the basics having been a few times before but the last time was about 6 months ago and im going to be extremely rusty. Any tips to recapture my A game?

Hello there. Interesting answers. The best advice I can give you is to hit the parctise range. Dull, yes. My god mind numbingly dull, but essential.

If you have a sound swing (need to make sure it doesn’t look like Jim Furyks’ swing) then the practise area is the place to be. The reason for that is you play between 70 – 95 shots playing a round of golf. Great, but you play them with different clubs. Rubbish if you want to know how to:

1. Hit the club consistantly
2. Gauge the distance you can hit it playing a 75%, 80% and 100% shot (the latter shouldn’t really be tried that often)
3. Learn the type of shots you can play with the club. For example, can you hit a low hook, or a high fade for challenges that frustratingly have to be dealt with one the course.

Plus also, if you have hit 100’s of practise shots with all your clubs you will be able to step up to ball on the course and just hit it knowing exactly how you are going to hit, how you are going to shape and the end result. None of the negative mind games of ‘will I thin it’ etc etc etc.

No advice on putting though, as this takes time. Get the basics right i.e. head over ball, commit to the stroke, head down, hear the ball drop into the hole not watch it etc etc etc. But putting is very personnal. Whatever fell comfortable and true, then go with it.

This comes from experience and having it drummed into me when I was 12 years of age.

well, i have a friend that works as a golf caddy at this rich ass golf club and hes makin huge bank here, so i just went and applied to become a caddy and was wondering

what can i do to become a better caddy and get better tips from people?

First of all it helps tremendously if you play, and play well. If not, you will need to keep quiet in the beginning and focus on providing service more than advice. Never stand in the line of the shot (in front of or directly behind) of the golfer. Wipe down the club after every shot. Have the putter handy when you approach the green. Watch the ball closely off the tee so you can find the ball easily. Once you learn the game and the course you caddy on, you can provide insight to the golfer; like distance from the flag, breaks in the green etc.
